Bourassa Vineyards - Expect the Unexpected!

Vic Bourassa's roots in the wine business began as a hobby. Prior to becoming a winemaker he was a Real Estate broker with a penchant for making wine. He had the good fortune to have lunch with Robert Mondavi one day back in 1999 and Mondavi got to sample Vic's wines. The good news is, Mondavi polished off an entire bottle - which meant he liked it! It was a bottle of Vic Bourassa's Napa Valley Pinot Noir.

Robert Mondavi encouraged Vic to make wine professionally. That day in 1999 was was when Bourassa Vineyards was officially born, although 2001 was when Bourassa Vineyards was formed as a commercial winery. The first wine was the 2001 Harmony3 Bordeaux blend at 425 cases, it sold out quickly at $50.00 per bottle.

Bourassa Vineyards handcrafts about 4,000 cases per year and focuses on Chardonnay from Russian River, Napa Valley Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon known as Symphony3, Petit Sirah, Merlot, a red blend named Harmopny3 and Cabernet Franc, additionally Bourassa produces a fantastically popular Solera Port.

Bourassa Vineyards tasting room is located in a business park, however the tasting room is a private reserve barrel room with beautiful rich furnishings, candelabras, fine stemware, warm lighting, music and an exclusive private tasting of flights of wine with Vic, Kathy, or Efrain in an exquisite ambiance for tasting wine where they “take moments and turn them into memories”
