Casa Nuestra - Old World Wines in Heart of Napa

Casa Nuestra is a quaint family owned winery in the St. Helena district on the Silverado Trail. Gene Kirkham, co-founder and owner of Casa Nuestra, got his start in 1974 when he moved to this property with his family and left his fast-paced attorney life behind.

Gene, and his wife Cody, became stewards to some wonderful Old-world grapes (Chenin Blanc, Riesling and Gamay)on this property and to an Italian field blend (Tinto) at his mothers small vineyard in Oakville. They found they had a fondness and appreciation for these old-world wines and while other vintners in the area were ripping out these classics for bigger, bolder varietals, Gene and Cody committed themselves' to saving them. In fact, they began cloning their vines and planting even more of these historic treasures.

Even today, Casa Nuestra is known for it's dedication to preserving Old-world style and rare varietal wines. They produce 2000 cases of 12 award winning wines which can only be found at their tasting room or on their website.

Some of the rare varietals include: Dry Chenin Blanc, Late Harvest French Colombard, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Charbono, Petite Sirah and Tinto Classico.

Casa Nuestra is entirely organic, uses almost 100% estate grown fruit and the entire farm is run on solar power! Plus, they have goats, dogs and picnic areas for your enjoyment.
